What a beautiful houseboat this used to be until it was 'moved' by the riparian landowner and it mysteriously sank. I am giving away this opportunity for £0.99p but it's not a project for the faint hearted. Firstly, if you decide to take it on you will need to: 1. Raise it. 2. You will need to move it from the current location, Barking Creek, East London, by the 1st of January 2019. The boat was purchased by us in 2011 and we went about turning it into what you see above, Image 7 shows a few before and after pictures. Image 10 is a mini comic, giving you some insight to the story. The entire upper structure was rebuilt to create a second level of living where the kitchen and living space was located as well as an aft deck for outside eating etc. The entire hull was repaired, treated, sheathed and then fixed ballasted to account for the removal of the engine and component parts to make it more stable. The outer hull is sheathed in a solid copper sheet to protect it from growth which runs up to the rubbing straight. The scrap value of the copper on it's own could make this purchase worth wile for someone with the right tools. The entire vessel was then internally and externally fit out with the best quality materials with the lower deck fitted out with Oaks, Mahogany, and hard woods such as zebrano and iron blood. The vessel sank 12 months ago so all of the lower level electricals will be no good, the front lower cabin was a themed bedroom originally for my 4 year old which i constructed from MDF and whilst the train is no longer in place the walls were still made from MDF, this will all have to be removed. The bathroom walls were tilled and these will have come away. Generally the lower level will need to be completely gutted, but floors, ceilings, and most of the sidings, door frames, and stairs etc will salvageable. The vessels water level raises up and down with the tide, so I'm not enirley sure how high the water comes up on the upper level but the upper level was all constructed from hard woods and engineered timbers and glass with the outer decks finished in teak. All would be salvageable except the front 2 meters of flooring in the upper structure by the front door which was made from laminate so would need removing. The kitchen was made from Inidan hard woods, oaks and would be mostly salvageable but coverings electrics and white goods needing replacing. I have tons and tons of pictures of how this vessel was once recovered by us, and i hope that someone else will be able to do the same again. The vessel is called the HLD Warrior and is believed to be one of HMS Warrior's Harbour Launches. When we bought it it was in a much worse state than it would be when raised and dried out, but you will need to be prepared to spend money on new electrics and soft linings etc on top of the cost to raise and move. The last image was taken today 19th November, clearly needs a good jet wash!!, ohh how this makes me sad :( I really hope that someone can take this vessel and make it beautiful again or even make something from it because it really was great. A serious discussion needs to be had with anyone who wishes to take on this opportunity so give us a call on 07736364942. Thank you for looking. Best of luck! Condition: Used Insights Exclusive
